Who Am I?
Since I was a teenager I have been playing bars and clubs as a bassist with various bands. I know what its like being you. You don't have thousands to spend on recording time and all of the other baggage that comes along with high-end studios. You also don't want to mess around with "basement" studios, where some guy records you on his parent's old tape deck. I don't know about you, but working around their schedules and even being charged for time you use to set up your gear just never worked for me...
I've worked in various areas of professional music including performance, live sound and large recording studios. I was in charge of sound at a large club in the Dayton, OH for several years, and constantly had musicians telling me how much they wanted a recording of their show, and we simply didn't have the equipment to do it for them. After that I worked in several recording studios, where engineers had to charge upwards of $60 an hour, just to pay for the overhead that comes with a large building, and huge racks of equipment that rarely get used.
That's why a decade later I am here to bring you Drive-By Recording. I am here to change the whole train of thought that the over-priced studios and amateur local studios of Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus have instilled upon the rising and even veteran musicians of this area.
I combine the quality and sound of a high-end studio with the price of a bargain studio and best of all, I will come to you!
